There are lots of trips coming and up forms needed back as well as instructions for next week’s program in the details below – please read carefully and let us have any questions if we don’t answer your them with the info.
The first weekend trip of the year is coming up on the weekend of February 16th & 17th. This is an initial D of E exercise but is open to ALL members:
We are getting our numbers together for the Ski Trip booking and with the passing of the submission ‘deadline’ on Jan 31st we have had many submissions to join us on the 2014 Ski trip to Italy.
The Smalls (everyone except the Bigs who are doing D of E) are off on the Hampton Nav event next week. The event will start from and end at the church hall in Bickenhill as usual. Each member will need to bring a small rucksack to carry the following:
The roads to Bickenhill are absolutely fine – totally snow and water free. In Bickenhill itself the roads are a still covered with snow and slush.
We are pleased to announce our 2014 Ski Trip details. This time, we will be moving resorts and going to Sansicario in the Milky Way region of Northern Italy. This is an area of linked ski resorts and villages allowing us extensive opportunities to explore the area.

Following our 2010 and 2012 ski trips we are starting to plan our 2014 ski trip. Our 2010 and 2012 trips have been described by those that went on them as the best trips they have ever been on!!
We’re really looking forward to our 2014 trip and will be announcing our plans to all members at the meeting on Tuesday Jan 15th and invite all parents to come along to hear the information.
We will start the presentation just after 8.30pm and will be able to answer all member and parent questions about the trip. We look forward to seeing you all!!
