Activities This Week

All activities this week are as per the program, but here is a round up for you:

• Bigs: you are at Blackwell Adventure doing some raft building and then testing your creations. The postcode for the location is B60 1LJ, directions are at this link http://goo.gl/maps/zMzdi – it is on Pikes Pool Lane. When you turn onto Pikes Pool Lane you need to continue for 250m, the entrance is on the right hand side.  The journey will take around 25 mins and everyone needs to be on site by 6.30pm. The session will finish ready for collection at 8.30pm. It’s a little bit of a drive so feel free to stick around and watch / help out.All participants need to take clothing that can get wet in a pond and plastic bags to bring it back home in. Every participant MUST have shoes to take into the water. The session will cost £6, please make sure to have a cheque made payable to “Challenge Adventure Group” for this amount. Please let us know if you CANNOT make it, it has been on the program and booked in since the start of term and we haven’t heard of any non attendees so we are expecting you all unless you let us know!
• Young leaders are at Bickenhill as normal with Nick helping get some stuff done there and focussing on the YL program.
• Smalls: you are at Leam Boat Centre this week having a go at some Kayaking and Canoeing. The directions are at http://goo.gl/maps/wfUkR.You need to bring clothing that can get wet and you must have shoes that will stay on your feet and get wet, flipflops don’t count.There is an additional permission form you need to bring that is attached to this article– please fill it out and bring along with you, don’t forget it or you won’t be able to take part.The session starts at 6.30pm and finishes at 8pm. You will need to bring a cheque for £12 made payable to “Challenge Adventure Group”. This activity has been booked in and on the program since the start of term and we haven’t heard of any members who cannot make this event. If you cannot attend please let us know although there may still be a charge as we have asked for enough instructors and equipment for our numbers.
