Sorry for the delay in getting this to you, it’s not quite the end of term so this will be useful anyway – please click to see the program.
The program shows we are at CAG Towers, Bickers, tonight and we will try to get outside for part of the evening so please come with waterproofs and shoes that can go on the soft wet field. We won’t be doing anything with fires so no smoke smells this week and won’t be outside all night.
Next week: you will see that we are at at Ackers Ski Slope. There are two options:
- Instructional Ski for those that haven’t yet progressed to the main slope – that’s anyone who hasn’t used a drag lift before and can’t turn and control speed.
- Recreational Ski for those that are new to skiing or haven’t progressed to the main slope.
The costs are the same for each type of skier: £10 per person. We have a limit of 20 places for instructional ski for members and are happy to open these up to other family members if there are spaces. We need to know as soon as possible who will be attending and needs to be included in the instructional ski group. Please let us know if other family members (inc parents) want to take part, we will give places to members first though.
We also need to know who will be attending for recreational ski so please confirm with us.
End of Year Dinner & Awards and Round Table Christmas Collections
At the end of term there is the Traditional Christmas Dinner and End of Year Awards at the Ellora Restaurant – details that need your response will be sent very soon so please look out for that.
During the end of term period we are helping with the annual Round Table Santa Sleigh Christmas Collections. These are a lot of fun – parents and other family members can come along and get in the Christmas spirit early and help the Round Table raise thousands of pounds for local organisations – ourselves included.
There are 5 dates to choose from – you can choose as many as you like, lots of people did several last year – but we are asking each member to assist with at least one date. Please look at the dates and let us know as soon as possible which dates you would like to do. All information for start and end locations and times are in the program.
