The Karting evening coming up is on November 18th.
The instructions are as follows:
- The centre want to start racing as close to 7pm as possible with everyone suited up and briefed beforehand. That will require everyone being on their site by 6.30pm.
- The centre is located on Fazeley Street in Birmingham: https://goo.gl/maps/QJE6P
- Parking for those that need it is difficult around there, best street to try is Pickford Street, a little bit up the road.
- The event will take 2.5hours for everyone to get a good go at driving. Pickup time will therefore be 9.30pm
The best method of getting to the centre is to take the train if you can, it’s about a 10 min walk from Moor Street station: come left as you go out of the station, down the hill, into to Moor Street Car Park, down the steps to your right as you enter the car park and then exit the back of the car park on to Allison Street. Turn left on to Allison St and then right on Bordesley, left on Barn and right on to Fazeley and you are there.
If you want to drive there please allow plenty of time, it takes around 20 mins without traffic, will take around 40 or more with traffic at that time of the evening. Some people aren’t in a car share so if you have space in your car for one more can you please let us know so we can get those who will be travelling by themselves into a car that will be going anyway?
