The CAG ski trip has been OFFICIALLY voted the World’s Best Ski Trip Ever by a distinguished panel of industry veterans.
Esteemed commentators with a vast knowledge of their subject have consistently commented on the high quality of the trip with it’s “larf’s per day” ratio a record high.
Luke James, of the CAG Ski Trip Veterans Association (CAGSTVA), said: “It’s the best I’ve ever been on – and I’ve been on a few, I should know!!”
Fellow CAGSTVA member Alex Maundrell agreed: “I’ve been on a couple of CAG ski trips and the infamous Arden Yr10 trip – the CAG trip is waaaaaay better than anything else I’ve EVER been on!”
With a Larf per Day ratio of over 945:1, the trip has certainly laid down a marker to other ski trips. Stu Knight, a skier of tremendous history, if not a tremendous amount of skill (described as “not bad” by one instructor) even stated: “I’ll pay for Joel Alcock to go, it’s worth it for the larf value alone“. On hearing this news, Joel replied “oh….ok” and signed up immediately for his FOURTH trip.
The 2016 CAG ski trip has been designed to allow all members to take part – and given the reviews it gets, why wouldn’t you?
“How am I going to pay for it?” may be the only question that is holding you back. The answer is through the long term program of fundraising CAG has set up and already started. Each and every member can take part in the car washing, fun running, bag packing or any other activity to pay for some or even all of the trip. On the last trip, some members even had money left over following all the fund raising that took place.
Time is Running Out
This really is a great trip and CAG want it to be accessible to all members regardless of financial situations, but we need to place our booking with the ski trip company to secure the places.
If you are interested in taking part, don’t wait to hand in your forms and deposit – WE CANT’ STRESS THAT ENOUGH. Places WILL run out and we may not be able to add additional members to the trip after the initial booking – the hotel we are staying at isn’t the biggest one but is right on the slopes so it has massive pressure for places and will fill up quickly, as it did last time.
The deadline for handing in the deposit and forms to take part was October 30th but we have been given some extra time to extend that to the meeting on Tuesday November 4th. We will be sending our booking and deposit payment immediately after that meeting so that deadline will not be extended
If you are interested in taking part but have questions about the financial arrangements or need some help with this, please contact us for a confidential discussion.
All the forms and information is in the attached documentation – click this link.
If you are thinking of joining the trip DON’T DELAY – WE NEED YOUR FORMS AND DEPOSIT BY THE DEADLINE and may not be able to add you to the trip after this time. You can drop your forms off at 112 Browns Lane, Knowle, B93 9BD if you don’t want to wait or can bring them to the meeting on Tuesday.
We look forward to seeing you on the trip!
