Tomorrow we are out and about getting to Knowle from Barston.

This is a TEAM event, it needs members of teams to fully take part for the team to operate properly.

The team that takes the least time and gets themselves correctly from Barston to Knowle will get chips paid for by CAG – everyone else buys their own.

The conditions tomorrow look perfect: light winds, warm, decent moon and no rain. However, you will need to wear walking boots as the ground will be uneven. Please also bring a jacket (just in case), a torch with spare batteries, snacks, a drink and some money for chips (which you won’t need if you are the best team).

Points are on offer for how your team gets on overall as well as your completion time.

We are meeting at St Swithins Church, Barston (click this link to see on map) at 7pm, no later as we have a lot to do!! We will finish at 9pm at the chip shop in Knowle from where you can be picked up.

Following the beep test last week, this is the current standing of points per team for this terms competition:

  • Team 1: 378
  • Team 2: 250
  • Team 3: 43
  • Team 4: 254
  • Team 5: 494 – a really excellent performance last week and have won both of the team challenges so far!
  • Team 6: 9 – that’s NINE!!

Some teams are short of points: that is because some members missed last week but also because some members did the beep test but didn’t get their score logged despite us telling you three times to tell us what your score was. If you did the test you need to tell us what your score was to count towards your team total – we won’t log it if you don’t tell us. You did the work, you might as well get the benefit for it as every point counts!!
