As mentioned at our information evening, we are running a hiking trip to Wales on October 3rd – 4th.
This will be to the Dolgellau area to do a hike to the summit of Cader Idris, one of the best mountains with the most amazing views in Wales. From the top you can see the Irish Sea to the west, Abersoch to the north west, Mt Snowdon and the northern Snowdonia mountains to the north and the rest of Wales to the east and south.
This is a really fun trip and any one will be capable of taking part – any and all members are invited to come along!!
We would like to take all members with us but we don’t have enough space for all so the spaces will be allocated on a first come, first served.
The trip will leave on the evening of October 3rd after school / work and will return the next night at around 7.30pm. We will spend the night in a bunkhouse (like a small youth hostel) at the foot of Cader Idris and then set off from there to the summit.
It’s not a hard trip to the top, so we’ll be up and down in a reasonable short time and will have time for an ice cream or two in Dolgellau before we get in the cars and return to Knowle.
Please read the trip documentation for all the information and make sure you have the required kit if you want to take part. If you want to take part but don’t have the right kit please let us know as soon as possible.
If you have any questions let us know. Get your forms in quick, places will fill up!!
