It’s getting close – only 3 sleeps left now!!
A couple of updates for you:
- Meeting time at Arden:
The meeting time has been put back by 15 mins to 4.30pm on Saturday. Please make sure to be there by 4.30pm at the latest, we don’t want to hold the coach up on what looks like a difficult and busy journey to Dover and across the channel (Dartford bridge may be closed and Dover will be facing delays due to the weather on the busiest weekend of the year). - Fleeces:
Most members have got their new CAG fleece and we have done a special Ski Trip edition for the ski trippers only – please make sure to wear it on the journey south. You’ll need it anyway as it will be cold and it is one of the warmest fleeces available. If you haven’t got yours yet you will get it on Saturday at Arden before we get on the coach but you need to make sure you pay us first if you haven’t done so already. - Drinks and food:
It’s a long way on the coach until we get to the ferry and then a long way south. Please make sure to have drink and food to sustain you for the journey. We will stop every couple of hours for a rest break and to stock up on food so you will need Euros and pounds. Don’t overload though: we won’t be stopping if you need the loo and you will face the issue of using the on-board facilities that won’t be quite what you are expecting….. - Insurance Declaration:
We have already done this but in shredding our old documents our administrator has also shredded the insurance declarations that we still need. Oops. Sorry to ask again, but we need you to print the last page of the attached, complete it and bring it with you on Saturday. We have included the policy details for your information and to check you are still within them. NOTE: If circumstances have changed and you are no longer covered by the policy YOU NEED TO CALL US IMMEDIATELY. You will also need to purchase any additional cover required.
