A couple of reminders for you in advance of tonight:
We’re Outside Tonight
We’re going with the plan in the program to be outside tonight – that means the ground will be wet and possibly muddy so please wear appropriate footwear. It may rain so you will need a jacket that can get wet.
Bring Gloves / Headtorch if you have one
We are going to be doing an activity (pole engineering) that will benefit hugely from bringing some gloves to wear, the tougher the better but you will need gloves.
If you have a headtorch it will be very useful, if you don’t, don’t worry, we’ll have the lights out anyway.
This Week’s CAG Bake Off
This week’s Bake Off is a Swiss Roll – if you’ve made one that’s great!! If you haven’t you can still purchase a slice of one for £1 – all proceeds to a charity that we will decide tonight so please come with a suggestion of a charity you would like to support.
Membership Fee
The last day for paying membership at the lower fee of £50 is today – thereafter the amount is £60. This only applies to members who started before September, for trial members who have started since September the fee will be £50 when you are happy to continue with CAG. If you haven’t yet paid the membership fee please send your payment as soon as possible to the usual payment details with the reference shown in the letter sent to you with all the details for the term. Scuba Diving – October 19th
We have arranged a Scuba Diving intro course for new divers at Aquasport International In Olton on October 19th. We have filled this course with those that have already told us they would like to take part – if you have told us you want to take part but haven’t yet paid for it you need to make payment of the fee of £17 using the reference “Scuba – lastname” (enter the members last name) to our regular payment details.
Those that don’t go diving that night will go to Flash Climbing which will have a cost of £10 – if you are going to Flash please forward payment of £10 using the reference “Flash – lastname”.
If there is enough interest We will run another Scuba intro course with a view to running a longer three week course for interested divers in the future. If you would like to do an intro course and haven’t yet told us please register your interest at this link – it will say October 19th but we will confirm the date with you when we know we have enough for a course – it will take place on a Tuesday. Thanks!!
Ackers Skiing Intentions & Payment
We are going to Ackers for two sessions (for Smalls – one session for Bigs / Young Leaders) on November 16th & 23rd and need to know a) if you will be attending and b) what level you will ski at. All the details are in the program sent to you recently. Please can you indicate your attendance by completing the form at this link . Please can you send payment for your sessions (£11 each) using the reference of “Ackers 1 – lastname” & “Ackers 2 – lastname” (as applicable).
