This Tuesday is our new members evening at CAG. It is for potential new members in year 5, 6, 7 and 8 to come along and visit us for the evening to find out what we do.

Any potential new member is very welcome at any age but are keen to fill places in years 5 to 8.

We have attached a poster for everyone to share with their friends and family (click to download): if you know of anyone who has a young fellah in any of the school years 5 to 8 please send to them and get them to come along. Please don’t pre-assess them – let them decide if they would like to come (we’ve heard that people haven’t been asked to come along as they go to another organisation on a different day of the week – let them decide if they want to come, it’s up to them, we don’t care what else they do).

You can also post it on work discussion groups / apps, and on WhatsApp group discussions.

The program for the evening is split:

  • Smalls: will be at CAG Towers for the last night of the Survival and Bushtucker skills sessions with a BBQ to finish.
  • Bigs: will be at Olton Mere from 7pm: please come in / with clothes that can get wet – you will most likely be getting wet! Please make sure to wear closed toe shoes. This will the first night of a paddle sports  course that will gain you a water qualification over the coming weeks.

Thanks for your help, looking forward to seeing you, and a lot of new members, on Tuesday!

PS Please remember the personal and team on time and uniform bonuses! Be lined up by 7pm and with your CAG shirt!!
