We have a very exciting and busy expedition season coming up this year as we are running the bronze and silver weekends separately. Bronzes are on foot and Silvers are on the water. Here are the key dates for your diaries;
BRONZE (dates confirmed, locations TBC)
- Expedition training weekend: 16-17 March (Warwickshire)
- Expedition practice weekend: 06-07 July (Shropshire)
- Expedition qualifying weekend: 20-21 July (Peak District)
SILVER (dates to be finalised based on canoe hire and qualified paddling leaders)
- Expedition training weekend: Fri 10 May (evening departure) – Sun 12 May
- Expedition qualifying weekend: Sat 15 June (early start) – Mon 17 June (evening)
This means for the silver qualifying weekend you would need to arrange to take the Monday 17 June off school. If you need a letter from CAG we are more than happy to provide this. Silver participants will also need to complete their paddling course prior to the expedition.
