New Member Evening
You may have seen that we are having a new member evening: May 22nd. Read more
As you know from the program, we are running a weekend of Surfing and Beach Games on the weekend of 29 June – 1 July 2018. Yes, the dates have changed due to those pesky GCSEs.
Of those who went last year some said this was the best trip they’d been on, some said it was the best trip EVER, and when we returned EVERYONE said that they wanted to do it again next year so here we go! Read more
We are heading to Herefordshire for the Bronze and Silver DofE practice expeditions on 06 July – 08 July 2018. It will provide some essential preparation, working on all elements of the expedition part of your DofE award. Read more

It’s been some time since we ran a car wash and we’re looking to get them started again this weekend.
These washes are a great opportunity for members to earn some money towards their CAG activities: the money raised is awarded to those who take part. Read more
Details for tomorrow:
Smalls are at at CAG Towers with outdoor expert Mark Kirby who will be running a session on bushcraft for them. Normal times and tomorrow is a Chocolate brownie challenge – have a go, its more points for yourself and your team! If you would like a piece of chocolate brownie please remember that they will cost 50p which will go to our chosen charity (that we haven’t yet chosen).

You’ve seen the weather forecast all week: it’s going to be COLD. The wind will be blowing through and making it colder still so you need to wrap up warm. Read more
There are two activities tomorrow:
- Barston To Knowle for all Smalls (& other Non D of E Expedition participants) and D of E Golds: Please arrive at St Swithins Church Hall for a 7pm start (here’s a google map link: https://goo.gl/maps/UUG89aFnfLw). Everyone will be ready for pick up from Knowle Chip Shop at 9pm. All participants will need the following:
- Walking boots or wellies with warm socks
- Warm clothing
- Water proof jacket & trousers
- Head torch or other torch
- Drink & Snack
- Some money for chips if you aren’t the quickest team!!
- D of E Expedition training at Bickers: all D of E Expedition particpants need to be at Bickers for the normal start at 7pm. If you feel inclined to have a go it is a “Cheesecake Challenge” this week!
D of E Golds: please note, you are assisting with the running of Barston to Knowle!!!

This is a full day of shooting each other, starting at 9am and ending around 4pm but participants can leave earlier if they need. Read more

What is CAG?
Challenge Adventure Group (“CAG”) is a voluntary youth organisation for Knowle, Dorridge, Solihull and beyond that gets boys aged 10 and above out and about enjoying everything the world has to offer.
We provide challenging, adventurous and fun activities for young people in their leisure time at weekly meetings and over night trips.
