It’s been some time since we ran a car wash and we’re looking to get them started again this weekend.
These washes are a great opportunity for members to earn some money towards their CAG activities: the money raised is awarded to those who take part. The funds are held in a CAG Member account for their use on any CAG activity apart from CAG & D of E membership / registration fees. That means with all the fantastic trips coming up – and perhaps another ski trip? – members can make their own contribution towards the cost of them.
Washes are at Arden School on Saturday mornings between 10am and 1pm but there is a bit of set up and putting away so we meet at Arden at 9am and finish at around 1.20 – 1.30pm (as soon as we’ve put everything away members can leave).
We don’t have enough leaders to be able to run all the roles at a wash so we need other adults to assist, any adults that wash qualify for a share of the funds as well, usually put in with their sons fund.
We are starting this weekend so need a minimum of 8 members and 1 or 2 extra adults to assist. Please reply to simon@challengeadventure.org if you can take part.

Where there is an event listed after a date we may not be able to run the wash that weekend. If you would like to volunteer for certain dates please let us know by emailing simon@challengeadventure.org
