A couple of updates for you:
Lake District
As you may have seen, we have posted a video of our utterly fabulous trip to the Lake District – you can see it at https://youtu.be/V2B5YG6vZzQ – have a look to see what we were up to, it was fab!

Incidentally, we have almost finalised arrangements for the Feb 2018 ski trip – we will make the announcement just as soon as we have got everything sorted but the video above should give you an insight into what they are like – the best ski trips ever!!
Car Washing This Sat
If you are interested in going on the ski trip you may need some cash to help with paying for it, which is why we are running the car washes to help you pay for it. The next car wash is this Saturday: who wants to take part? Meet time at Arden is 9.30am and finish will be 1.20 – 1.30pm as normal. Please let us know if you would like to take part, we can only take the first people who respond.
Curry!
We are going out for our annual End of Year awards to the Knowle Indian Brasserie on December 13th. We will have a meal and then give out some awards – there’s also a fun quiz for members to have a go at with some prizes for the highest scorers. Don’t worry if you don’t like curry, there are alternatives available.
All members and parents / family are welcome to come along – but we need numbers as soon as possible.
We need to get the choice of each attendee before the evening itself to give the restaurant time to prepare and rush out a lot of meals in a very short time frame. Please review the choice at this link and then order your meal using the form at the bottom of the page. The per person cost of the night will be £11.
The curry choice will be
- A main curry choice of either Chicken, Lamb, Prawn or veg (Tikka or King Prawns will cost more) – please don’t order anything other than the items available.
- A rice or nan
- Two soft drinks (not J2O or other bottled soft drinks)
If you don’t want curry and would like an English dish please write your order in the other details box at the bottom. This will be charged separately.
Adults will be able to take part in the deal as well and can order alcoholic drinks but will need to pay any difference.
We need to know if you are coming or not AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, WE WOULD LIKE TO GET ALL ORDERS IN BEFORE DECEMBER 9TH – PLEASE DON’T WAIT TO ORDER, we will submit our order to the restaurant on Dec 10th and it will cause a degree of chaos in the restaurant on the night if you wait till then to order.
