As many of you know, Cameron Grant was a long term member of CAG and is one of the reasons we are running the four sessions with the Warwickshire Association of Youth Clubs this term.

These are sessions that will continue from those last term that introduced what mental health issues are and how young people can recognise them. We will continue this program this term, looking at how to avoid mental health issues and where to look for help if they do occur.

Outdoor activity is one method that promotes positive physical and mental health. As such, you will have seen from our program that there is an event on November 7th: the Hampton in Arden Night Walk. This is run by the Cameron Grant Memorial Trust as a fun family event to get everyone out and about in the local area and have a mini adventure at night. It’s a great event, there were over a hundred of walkers on last years first event.

It’s a short route starting and ending in Hampton In Arden and is free to enter, although the trust do ask walkers to collect a small amount of sponsorship to go towards the work of the trust.

It’s a great event and we encourage families to take part. You can find out more here. Looking forward to seeing you on October 7th!
