We are running an activity weekend on 13th – 15th November as per the programme.  However, the location has changed so instead of Castleton we are heading to the Brecon Beacons in the Welsh Mountains.  The weekend is extra special, as it is partially funded by a National Lottery “Awards for All” grant.  You will not want to miss this trip, it’s going to be a blast!

This trip is for all members and we hope you will join us.  Read more

We are outside tomorrow and we will have fire involved so you will get smokey but there is a reason for it:

We are going to give you some rabbit and deer to turn into a fantastic dinner offering – but you have to get stuck in to create your masterpiece. You can even bring something to dress up the table you will serve your top nosh at, such as a table cloth, chandelier, some fine crystal champagne flutes or even an immaculately turned out waiter – it’s up to you.

Make sure to wear clothes to keep you warm (like CAG Polo and Fleece – other sweaters not allowed!) and bring a head torch if you have one. You will get slightly smokey so don’t wear anything else you don’t want to get smelly.

That’s it, see you tomorrow!

As you know from the program, we are running a weekend camping and hiking trip to Andy’s Farmhouse in Ditton Priors on the weekend of October 16th – 18th 2015.

This is a trip for all members. Read more
