Following on from the Knowle Fun Run where Simon achieved a personal best on the course (beating the time he set when 11 years old), the target of raising £1000 for the Cameron Grant Memorial Fund hasn’t been reached yet and so Simon is off running again.

This time it is the Dorridge Fun Run: an 8 mile course in the countryside around Dorridge, Packwood and Lapworth. It will be hot and the furthest he has ever run – so it will be hard.

All this effort is to raise awareness of young male depression and suicide – the biggest killer of young males in our country. The funds raised will  be used to support young people who are fighting to overcome poor mental health especially where this can be done through outdoor activities like exercise, hill walking and the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award.

If you can, please support Simon by making a contribution, no matter how small, to the Cameron Grant Memorial Fund (managed by the Lillie Johnson Charitable Trust) at this link: http://www.totalgiving.co.uk/mypage/runningforcameron

If you can, get down to the run on Sunday morning (10am) and support all the runners taking part.

Thanks for your support! Please pass this to as many people as possible.
