As you will know from our previous information sent out and the information evening, we are fund raising for all aspects of CAG activities that require funding and this starts on Saturday morning at Arden Academy.
Members who want to take part can come along from 9am to 1pm to wash cars and earn money for their activities. As detailed previously, we will hold the funds on the members behalf for use on activities such as trips, Ski trip and any other activities that require extra funds – but not membership fees.
We start at 9am with car wash training to make sure we deliver a brilliantly clean car in as short a time as possible and open for business from 10am to 1pm.
Washers might want to make sure they wear suitable clothing like waterproof trousers and / or wellies – household rubber gloves will be a good addition to stop hands getting cold and having too much contact with the soap.
We need members to come along on time to work hard to wash as many cars as possible – and as many cars to turn up as possible. Family members and friends can assist by telling everyone they know to bring their car along – then telling those people to tell everyone else THEY know and so on etc etc.
