For those that are undertaking their Silver D of E this year, please find attached the required route files to upload to your E D of E mapping accounts:
Please use these to complete your DETAILED route plans with micro focus on the distances, height gained, times to complete each SMALL leg and the description of your route.
Remember: you won’t have a map when you do the route so your route cards need to be excellent!
Please also find attached an MS Word format route card (click here) – please fill this out either in Word or by hand. DON’T use the automatic route cards on E D of E: you won’t get a detailed understanding of your route and it will be taken off you if you use this.
Each member needs his OWN route card for the journey, not one photo copied from another member or copied in any other way – it is a waste of time and we’ll take the route off both people. Please do your own to either show you have the skills to do the route card in detail or we need to spend some time on the activity helping you.
This needs to be complete by next Tuesday.
