The roads to Bickenhill are absolutely fine – totally snow and water free. In Bickenhill itself the roads are a still covered with snow and slush.

If you would rather not drive on snow and slush please consider using the turn onto St Peters Lane (the second turning for St Peters Lane off Catherine De Barnes Lane) as an easy turning and dropping off point. This entrance to St Peters lane is Y-shape and allows easy turning around. We will meet all attendees who wish to be dropped off there from 6.50pm till 6.58pm and will walk them to the Church Hall in time for the start of the meeting.

Alternatively the parking area in front of the Church can be used as a dropping off point but we don’t recommend it as it is snow covered and a small area that will jam up with lots of turning cars.

We don’t recommend the Church Hall car park is used at all as it is snow covered and the entrance is a steep incline which will make entering and leaving very treacherous – there could also be a lot of cars which will jam it all up in no time.

At finish time we will walk members back to the dropping off points at the church and the entrance to St Peters Lane. Please make it clear to your sons which point they will be picked up from.

Please will all members make sure to bring a torch and suitable outdoor clothing – although we may only be outside for a very short time.

Let us know if you have any questions – see you later!
