Well Done Last Week – Here’s This Weeks Task

Well done to every one for working hard and getting the task done on Tuesday.

It wasn’t about doing the most beautiful lashings or the best knots, but about everyone mucking in to get the task done. The team leaders learned a little about their teams and their task of leading their teams, the team members all kept working on their task until it was done. Well done, it all got done in what seemed like no time at all!

This week:

You will be given a dead animal, rabbit or chicken, and need to prepare it for dinner. You will also be given some other ingredients to make a good dinner.

There is a lot to do: decide what you are going to make, who’s going to make it and who does which part of the cooking (there will be a lot to do), make a fire (always way harder than it sounds), cook it all perfectly, get it onto a plate and serve it to the judges for their decision on which team has performed together as a team the best to produce the best meal. You can dress up your meal if you want: bring a table cloth, some candles? May be just a little wine, or Ribena?

Have a think about what you are going to do at school this week and bring anything that you are going to need. We will provide all your food and some foil – that’s it.

PLEASE BE AWARE: the fields is already waterlogged and it is going to rain some more before we get there this week. Please wear wellies or other appropriate footwear!!
